Developed in conjunction with orthotic laboratories, these devices use carbon fibre and epoxy pre preg with multiple fibre architecture for correct torsional and longitudinal flex. Moulded directly from either CAD models or plaster casts, these orthotic devices build on the characteristics of existing plastic devices, with the added advantages of high strength, lightweight and an overall thinner device for a more comfortable fit.
Made in collaboration with senior prosthetists to deliver best results for the patient, the prosthetics are designed and constructed from the highest quality materials to meet the every day rigours of mobility. Each prosthetic limb is engineered in construction to meet the demands of the patient and its end use.
The composite seats are made from a machined mould obtained from an accurate 3D scan of the patient’s torso. The seats demand toughness, flexibility and most importantly an accurate fit for full support. We achieve all this and give a pleasant aesthetic at the same time, using a proprietary vacuum infusion method developed exclusively for this product.
